Ripples in Eriallond

"In the years directly following the first Orkish incursion, much progress was made among the nation states of Eriallond. But nothing comes free of charge. The Leoneheim Treaty was not favored in all regions and several countries were left economically destitute. As the Dwarves of the Black Mountain, Elves of Sylvania, humans of the inner kingdoms and their new orcish brethren rebuilt their infrastructure they became heavily competitive, imposing constricting sanctions upon one another and paralyzing tariffs. While banditry, fraud, and corruption became the order of the day in the inner kingdoms, horrific storms and nearly entrepenueral piracy wracked the Inner Sea. However, among the forsaken southern coast of that Inner Sea a new light shone through these troubles. With many inhabitants of Eriallond looking for new opportunity, word spread of the once innavigable underbrush of the southern jungles relenting, and the grand predators of the intermediate savannah had all but vanished. In the wake of this migration, the former shanty of Sink Town along the coast has since become a booming settlement, and those looking to test themselves against the riches and mysteries that the jungles had formerly evicted from history find opportunity in no short supply."

In the postwar climate of Llonde's old world, Eriallond, the continent has been rocked by the Orkish scourge. The order and solidity of the Nordmark Empire created by the Leoneheim treaty lies waiting to be established, but it is not so close as most think. That great crater of the Inner Sea has yet to be conquered again and in the south further uncertainties abound.  The track of the storm will be followed by those brave enough to weather the waves of fate. The Age of Opportunity has arrived, what powers will seize this moment for dark or light?
